Excellent research site: for any kind of stock trading:

http://www.the-market-toolbox.com/radio/index.html
I use the desktop Portal It has a free version and that is what I use and you get tons of stuff with it.

I love this site. it has many many filters you can use to narrow down stocks you are looking for. Works great for straddle trade search. you go to stock screens, then click custom screen, and you'll have 3 areas(fundamental, technical, descriptive), each with many filters to look for your trades. This is essential for finding straddles.

This next link is an interactive chart link. you can type in your stock symbol to see how a stock reacted on an exact day to it's earnings report. run your cursor across the botm of the chart it will how you the date and highlight that day vertically.

http://finance.yahoo.com/charts#chart1:symbol=^dji;range=undefined;indicator=volume;charttype=line;crosshair=on;ohlcvalues=0;logscale=off;source=undefined

This link is for finding earning reports and it will list past reports, percent of surprise, and estimated earnings for upcoming reports. After you use the Markt toolbox to find sticks with earning reports coming out soon and after hours, you go here and type in the stocks symbol, then wen it comes to tis page you click on Earnings about a third of the way down the page, and it will take you to that stocks earning history, percent of surprise tc.

If the stock meets the requirements for a straddle trade you then go to the interactive chart link posted above and see if it meets a minumum of 4 dollar gap after report came out.

criteria will be posted this weekend.
