I am always amazed at the quantum leaps that posters make armed with few if any facts. Without clairvoyance, no one here knows what Volvo hierarchy found useful or not useful. Without the internal reports by Volvo, everything is merely an assumption.

I can think of more than five plausible alternative theories as to Volvo’s action or inactions, none of which I am going to state here since they are irrelevant.

Let’s wait for the AFTC reports and not speculate.
