from a TA stand point we need a pullback. It allows new investors, flippers or longs, to buy in at a higher price level while the weaker hands take profits. This allows the new investors who entered the stock have a support level of where they bought in. It also give investors a chance to stock up before another up trend. Pullbacks are a healthy sign.
