Argonaut Exploration Inc. Acquires Mineral Claim Bordering the Columario Gold Property

Calgary, Alberta, March 8th, 2011; Argonaut Exploration Inc. ("Argonaut" or "the Company") (TSX-V: AGA) has completed an asset purchase agreement (the "Agreement") on February 23rd, 2011 with arm's length company North Bay Resources Inc. of Lonsdale, Pennsylvania, to acquire 100% interest in the Havroen mineral claim (tenure) located in the Terrace area of British Columbia. The Havroen claim has an area of 318.8 hectares and adjoins, to the south, the 2,230 hectare Columario Gold Property. The acquisition increases the Columario Gold Property area by 13% to 2,549 hectares (see Argonaut press releases dated Sept. 30, 2010 and Mar. 4, 2011).

Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, Argonaut acquired a 100% interest in the Havroen claim by paying the vendor a cash amount totalling $ 3,000 USD.
