Is it time to buy a new mattress? Liquidity in the stock market feels like it has been drying up for some time now. I can't imagine investors putting money to work in an environment like this. Look at small caps. They have been stagnant for 1-2 years. Is it a bottoming process with upside potential or is it the first wave down into a crash? I am looking for a mutual fund or stock that can weather all the upcoming turbulance because I will not have the time to follow the market in the next 6 months.
Not sure of the right approach. Maybe finding the right short for the october 80w low is the way to go.

I welcome all suggestions and appreciate all the expertise and professionalism of everyone on this board.

ps, chris, I was surprised to see you were a grand dad, been reading your ge posts for over a year and thought you were in your early 30's.
