Kryron/aluminum is amazing stuff. The armor protected against 60 armor-piercing rounds shot almost at point-blank range. There is no armor on earth currently that can do that except BORK's.
The progress is excuciatingly slow. How does such an amazing armor not immediately receive NIJ 06 certification?! I have no idea -- seems impossible. But here it is now a year later and no certification - IMPOSSIBLE, but true.
If Gussbee, kryron has other exceptional properties, industry doesn't seem to be that "excited" about it, since kryron has been around now for about 2 years and shown to industry.
Excruciatingly slow slow slow progress. Guess Global, JBIT, et al way way too optimistic on kryron's industrial/armor acceptance.
