I've never heard or been told of any further trials, nor have I seen any data other than what's readily available on the Internet, so I can't comment on any other clinicals that they might have done. Since they treated a lot of individuals at NIPRD's own facility (they have a small clinic set up), there's no doubt a lot of raw data available that was never published.

That's just speculation on my part though and since the banks have NIPRD running scared right now with lawsuits, I don't know that Nicosan will ever be the product it should have been... I hope I'm wrong, but when you've got so many people involved trying to make a decision and quite frankly, not one of them really caring about that product, it doesn't make for a solid business plan.
