Wtcbills, not sure if you noticed this, but someone posted the following as a comment in Glens SA article today.


The main issue with the license plates is the DATES on the supporting documentation in the appendix.

The words next to the date near the top right means "when this vehicle was first registered"

The words on the bottom left means "date this inspection is valid until"

The words on the bottom right means "date when this (car) needs to be scrapped"

So for all 3 documents, although with current stamps, are for expired registrations.

The first 2 plates (with associated pictures) both expired in 2002. It's likely that these plates have since been reassigned to buses.

The last plate expired in 2008, but the car was required to be scrapped in 2009, so it's also pretty likely that it was reassigned to the buses.

I'm surprised nobody has brought this up yet.
