The only factor that will move this stock upwards,as we all
know,is solid earnings,,that is,, 'verifiable' earnings..

All other news may or may not provoke a little excitment which
could and does spark a smidgen of upward movement,which is
unfortunately followed by a decline,usually to its prior level,
and sometimes even lower than the previous level..

This is where the day traders take their 10% to 20% to maybe
even 30% gains..When it drops back to what looks to them like a new low,they buy in again to await the next spark that will
start another spike in S/P..

Some longs take advantage of these episodes to do a little
in-n-out,to pick up some profit,while maintaining a larger
stash for their long position..One might call them,HYBRID
investors.. It takes vigilance and a little risk taking but
if played right, it works for some people..

In some cases the TRADING is done with a separate account
which may be with a separate broker,,to keep the LONG,and the
TRADING activities from getting too intermingled,for tax
implications..IMO

Just a little insight from one who has "BEEN THERE"..
