In My Opinion, anyone investing in any stock predicated on the fact that a NSS might occur is insane. Those occur kind of on the same schedule as an Eclipse, kind of a right place right time thing aka lottery numbers.

Now, do I think it will happen? Probably.

Would I try to seek out companies that are focused on that without anything to back it up. NO WAY.

If it happens, everyone just hit the lottery. Many things have changed 2/28/11 with all the new regs going into effect, so who knows how it will shake out. Discussing the whole thing seems silly at this point as it is like predicting the future and only one or two here do that Chicken Little thing DAILY, ( theskyisfalling, theskyisfalling, run, run )haha.

Do your DD and look at the asset of the company which is the Mountain PERIOD, not some silly potential for a wild stock ride which many even deny exists and can be ridiculously debated. NSing is such a stealth trade it is rarely even exposed, and certainly they don't offer it up as that type of position in their reporting mechanisms. Most defenders will point that out immediately, so why even waste oxygen on it now. Post JV would be the rime to revisit it speculation on the potential now is a waste.
