There's the crucial phrase for all of us, right there.
...if the market is cooperating.
It very seldom cooperates for me. I have to beat it and bludgeon it for every penny I can squeeze out of it, and even then it fights back like hell trying to get those (and more) pennies back.
Especially right now, where, if you are going to make a dime in this market, you work your arse off for it.
What I mean by working hard is that you have to look at more charts, you have to do more DD, and you have to be a heck of a lot more careful in your trades, just as you said you did with that short position. Very good reality trading on your part.
The easy money is gone for a while. Nose to the grindstone boys. And you could probably teach me a lot about that.
