The potential for corn farming in SL is HUGE. A typical acre in the US can yield 150-170 bushels. If SGCP can farm even 100 bu/acre, on 1800 acres, then it can produce 180k bu/ season. Yesterday's closing price for corn was $7.22 a bushel. So, SGCP can easily generate about $1million in revenue from corn farming alone. But, 1800 acres are not that big of a deal. The farmer featured in the report farms 3600 acres.
With the expected jump in revenue this year, I think SGCP can go large-scale corn farming
