That was a very good article on Wi-Fi and one that all tech investors should read. Investors have to pay attention to those areas that seem to be state of the art, but have inherent problems that make them high priority targets for immediate supplantation by even newer solutions that solve those problems.

In the case of G-3, it seems highly unlikely to me that the average citizen is going to be happy going around punching out URL's and messages on a telephone keypad or browsing the internet on a tiny screen. It is a problem that begs for another solution, and Wi-Fi may be that solution. The principle applies to most any new technology - is it a real and viable solution or is it just a temporary step toward a better and more satisfactory technology that is user friendly and will become mainstream.
