Northern Trust (Nasdaq: NTRS) announces the €60 million ($62 million) acquisition of Bank of Ireland Group, (NYSE: IRE) Bank of Ireland Securities Services (BOISS).

Closing is expected in Q211.

Northern Trust’s combined assets under custody and administration in Ireland will increase by approximately €70 billion (approximately $96 billion).
