ahhhhh....but here is the (not so) funny part. ECNC doesn't OWN the patents, it only has them licensed from Tom's private company, ET&T.
That is the fact that has kept me uneasy all through my involvement with ECNC.
Tom gets to "try out" his ideas at the expense of a company which does not own the "meat" of the idea. If it crashes and burns what do its creditors get? The remainder of the licenses, which would be virtually worthless.
But Tom and ET&T still have the patents to license to another company or sell. And he got to work out the bugs and prove it works as part of the bargain.
WE took our risks knowing these things....or should have.
That is my biggest concern. Tom has a vested interest in teh success of ecnc...but then again he won't live or die by the success or failure of it. In the end, he can keep on keeping on, imho.
Not true for those of us who believed and took our chance.....we get left holding our tickets wondering why we thought the ride would be better than it turned out to be.
But its not near over yet.....and the drama has been worth the price of admission to me!
