Almost no one uses the yellow pages anymore. They list you in the yellow pages for free but no one notices your business unless you take a larger ad. Just having your business listed in bold typecosts $60 or more per month. A 2 inch by 1 inch ad costs over two hundred dollars per month.Also the yellow pages charges you more to be listed online, it's not included with the free listing. I use a service similar to directory.com for my business. When the economy was stronger I paid $349 monthly for one zipcode and was very happy with the response. I'm paying under $100 now but still happy with the results. People do a search in their area and find my business.
