That little update was much welcome news. Things look like they are cooking overseas (imho). Here is the post for anybody that missed it...

PAISLEY, FL--(Marketwire - 02/22/11) - Turbine Truck Engines, Inc. ("TTE") (OTC.BB:TTEG - News), announces that in October 2010, TTE delivered a complete set of drawings for the next generation prototype of the Detonation Cycle Gas Turbine (DCGT) Engine to Beijing Royal Aerospace Facilities Co., Ltd. (Royal). The design was modified based on recommendations of TTE and Royal's experts.

"This next generation prototype represents a step in the advancement of the DCGT technology. State of the art CAD tools were used in addition to significant enhancement of our material selection, design features, and tolerances," said Michael Rouse, TTE's President and CEO.

In early December 2010, TTE and Royal finished converting the new drawings to metric and then to Chinese machining drawing standards as part of our agreement. This process was done in collaboration to create the 6th Generation DCGT that TTE and Royal will both build.

"I believe the modification suggested by our partners to be thoughtful, beneficial, and will lead to the speedy and efficient construction and assembly of our next generation prototype," commented Dr. Magdy Attia, TTE's Chief Technology Officer.
