however, the only thing I see Meheu doing for Hughes is acquiring troubled businesses that continued to fail. The Vegas portion of Hughes business was a loser and Meheu was in charge of that. In Meheu's defense, he did accomplish a lot of deals for Hughes when givin assignments and Meheu was not the only executive taking advantage of Hughes, but Meheu did admit to making some deals without approval of Hughes.
I kept reading the book hoping Meheu was going to do somthing great for Hughes and instead it left a bad taste in my mouth.
I realize Hughes had problems, it's the taking advantage of the situation that bothers me.
But again, what did Mahue do after Hughes? Hopefully greater achivements.
