I get this now! Think of it as two tanks of water that are connected. As the one tank (preferred shares) increases in capacity, the other tank (common shares) are proportionately reduced! Eventually, the preferred tank will be full (contain complete value of the company) while the other tank (common shares) will be empty and devoid of value. But the valve only opens one way given the current state of filings (or lack thereof)...accurate? The only value to the common shares will be what pumpers can lead people into believing.
