Who is scamming who?

Whoever went to the laborous effort to produce those "letters" from the Arizona Land Department gets an "A" for effort but doesn't pass in the area of details.

If one examines the letter and subsequent affidavit form that Mr. Rice included as an Enclosure a few obvious erros are made.

1) Every form from the Arizona Land Department has an internal code used on the bottom left hand corner. The official forms have a creation date indicationg the form number followed by the month and year it was created eg. 7000-09/92 and if revised the revision is included in parethesis like this (Rev. 11/2000) with only the month and year indicated. All of this is followed by a brief description. So a complete identifcation might look like this: 7000-09/92 (Rev. 10/2002) CP Assign (That is the identification found on the bottom of every page for the Certificate of Purchase Assignment Application) The "fake form" has no internal creation code, no identification, and lists the revision with month/date/year like this 9/12/03

2. There are multiple alignment issues with the "fake form" as opposed to official forms found on the Arizona Land Department's website.

3. The top of the "fake" affidavit form only has "State Land Department" Every other form on the Arizona Land Department's website has "Arizona State Land Department". I guess proofreading would have been in order.

It was a valiant at some computer generation forgery but a little more research and care might have produced a more believable document. The lengths certain individuals are going to to discredit NMC, Inc. is absolutely amazing.
