i believe NFLD is on track to be the first company in the "blood substitute" arena to get full approval. It's a fascinating area and all of the players seem to be active on one level or another: sybd bpur & even allp if i recall

even HMSL, the Candadien co. that messed up with the Hemolink, is using their state of the art facility for other purposes

but the class act is NFLD and i am looking forward to listening to the cc call.

Providing stable oxygen-carrying blood sub for trauma on the battlefield will be a big gain for someone. Military contracts could be huge and longer term players might consider spreading their bets....BPUR, has had some ongoing work with the military, and i don't know if lack of FDA approval means anything to the military.
