I don't see anything about this on their website. Not on their forum. Not on their blog. Why is that?

And for the divy, I would have more respect for CBIS, if they just stated that it didn't work out because at this point it really can't get any worse...

An announcement unannouncing the dividend could give the price a boost.

Seems to me their last pre-announcement declared a ratio of 97%/3% preferred to common, which would put their preferred shares (at the current price of the stock) at $1 - which was the declared price of the preferred.

One could make the argument that their announcement was a self-fulfilling prophecy, and the current share price proves it.
