You are speculating to the negative..

Lets try the other angle. Rooney was going to disclose the relationship with COV. Then someone else came to the table and things changed. The conference was already scheduled and there wasnt time to cancel.

What would you have done? Just not shown up? Presented anyways and let the potential relationships fall to the wayside?

Please do let me know what you would do in that situation.
