Closer to the truth, is these bloggers (I refuse to call them writers or journalists) probably have a lot of "stories" like this in the can. They just pull up their list of active stocks and copy paste the ones that kind of vaguely fit their premise.
Their real purpose is to drive traffic to the website so they can sell ad revenue and leads on new subscribers for their "winning strategies" etc. So don't take it too personally when they write about your holdings... All JMHO of course.
