Yes, I agree. A lot of those guys are simply trying to pick a fight. They love to get attention. The best way to deal with them is to just ignore them. I think the longs sometimes give the basher more credit than they deserve. Most people don't listen to them anyway. If a person comes on a board and decides not to buy a stock because of what someone says on a message board or decides to sell because of what someone says on a message board is not a real investor anyway. Same applies the other way too. You shouldn't buy or sell a stock because of something you hear on a message board. Do your own DD then make a decision. If someone claims something on a message board, verify it from a reliable third party. If you can't verify it, then forget it. People who actually have inside information are not stupid enough to post it on a message board. If the info is not public and not verifiable then it is useless.
