Yes, that is a saying I have heard before too. An internet urban legend. Bashing OTCBB's is easy. A lot of them are bad so it doesn't take a rocket scientist to find one. Just throw a dart and you are likely to hit one. The trick is in finding a good one. I believe a lot of the flame wars are caused by people who have differing levels of risk tolerance. Some people can't understand why someone would invest in a penny stock, so they proceed to tell everyone that opinion. Then you have those of us who understand the inherent risks and invest in penny stocks anyway. It is like a crap shoot. Roll the dice but be willing to pay the price. I, for one, do not understand the mentality of bashers. Why someone would spend hours everyday bashing a stock they supposedly have no interest in is beyond me. If I don't like a company, I simply state that fact, my reasons for disliking it, then move on. A lot of these guys just don't have anything better to do so they go on the message boards and try to pick a fight to blow off steam I guess.
