the company got bought for only 3 million dollars...so in all fairness, the market cap (company valuation as according to PPS) should have topped out at 3 million...but no - - it went up to over 20 million with shares topping $5.

look how the shares of BLOAQ have spiked just on the news that it will go up for auction.

in other words, a bid would increase the pps for the same reason it increased the PPS on gway - - people BUY BUY BUY because buyouts = buying frenzies.
