NO there does not!

The job of the MM’s is to create liquidity in the market, they are required to have even buy and sell pressure on the stocks that they trade.

So if you sell and there is no buyer the MM will take your shares at the bid, if you buy and there is no seller the MM will fill your order at the ask.
