Sad to say that I don't remember that comic strip, and during the 50's I read all the comics every day. Guess the Daily Oklahoman and the Oklahoma City Times didn't run it.
To this day I credit my love of reading to the comic strips. My parents refused to read them to me, and I had to learn to read them myself. I eagerly awaited reading lessons in the 1st grade so I could run home and read the comic strips (as best I could.) From there, it was an easy step to The Hardy Boys.
BTW I'm 58.
