Yesterday's issue of The New York Times (2/11/2011) had an excellent article about the revival of the gold mining industry in California, paticularly the at mother load areain the Sutter Creek area.
Very positive about the amount of recoverable gold still there for the aggressive miners to extract. The Lincoln Mine was mentioned, but the Ruby Mine and NBRI was not. It is worth a read if you have the time.
