Johnny, there are many ways to manipulate a stock price. If a large private investor, for instance, can secure a contract with the company with a clause that stipulates that, in case of a price decline in stock price, the number of shares owned must be raised to reflect the original invested money, that investor can eventually gain control of the company. I'm not saying this is what is happening here, but just one scenario that could happen.
