1. A private company has no obligation to report any progress so don't expect the Power Fund to do so until it is fully integrated within SLMU.
2. A public company has an obligation to others, and a commitment to itself, to be transparent and proactive when anything it has committed to is going to change. Right now everyone is gunning like hell to make the closing happen in the date range provided. If there any issues which prevent us from doing that, you can be assured that we would advise the shareholders of SLMU that a delay has occurred, and be as transparent as is responsible to be in that context.
There are many unanswered questions that are being posted on this and other boards in the hopes that someone with hard facts addresses them, while others tend to speculate. As a director, (and this is fair to take as a public representation of SLMU), we will do our best to respect not only the laws as dictated by the SEC or other regulatory bodies, but also the best interests of our shareholders, our team and our external partners. That is how I promised to govern myself as a director when I was appointed, and I believe I can speak for all the board when I say we will let everyone know in due course of the progress being made on all fronts.
We are the cusp of something very exciting. I applaud those who have taken the risk to invest at this stage and will do whatever I can to affect a positive outcome on their investments. To some, what I have written above doesn't tell them enough, to others it will suffice. At this moment, its' the most I can write. I will let our actions speak for themselves and as we begin to execute, much will be made clearer about the funding depth, the investors who will come in, the manner of transaction between SLMU and Sunlogics Inc. (who is designing/building/executing solar canopies for General Motors) and the vision.
