LOS ANGELES, April 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Media International Concepts, Inc. (Pink Sheets: MEIC) announced today that its recently acquired wholly owned subsidiary, RockWindow Television Network, Inc., is launching RockWindow Radio. RockWindow Radio will premier Saturday night, May 14, from Hollywood, CA.
RockWindow Radio's first program will be a talk format hosted by Marcus Hause. Hause, CEO of RockWindow Television, recently worked with longtime Southern California newscaster George Putnum. The show will be carried over Cable Radio Network (CRN). CRN reaches over 11 million households nationally and many more internationally via cable, satellite, and worldwide over the internet. Hause will cover stories dedicated to the baby-boomer audience. The program will discuss classic rock and neo classic rock, an art form of new rock committed to a traditional rock foundation.
RockWindow Radio's first guest will be Boyd Grafmeyer. Grafmeyer, known as the Bill Graham of Seattle, will discuss the early days of rock and roll, up to the grunge movement and beyond, throughout the Northwest. Among Grafmeyer's credits is bringing Jimi Hendrix home to Seattle from London in 1967. That launched Hendrix's career.
RockWindow Radio will be heard weekly with a goal to be picked up and simulcast over satellite radio outlets such as Sirius and XM.
