That's kinda the point. Same reason a lottery ticket is only a dollar. People might be willing to take a risk of getting "winning" a dollar on a dime bet, but they start to think twice when you ask for eleven cents. I know it makes no sense from a purely mathematical or economic angle, but neither does risking anything on this stock unless you have really done your dd.
