John Paul II became the Pope in 1978!??! Twenty-seven years. To put that into perspective, I had only been married 11 years in 1978, my youngest daughter was only 7 years old, and now she has a 5 year-old daughter of her own.

My oldest daughter was only 9, and now she has a 13 year old daughter and and an 11 year old daughter.

And I was only 31 years old, LOL. Just a spring chicken, relatively speaking.
