MMBF why sand: used to bring up shale oil, fracture oil-containing shale at depth, then pump in sand, oil comes up.

As oil prices run up (today, some oil futures are at or near $100/gal.), demand for MMBF's products will only increase: sand in order to produce oil from shale deposits.

MMBF was originally acquired by a Hunt Oil company in order to take advantage of a business designation: MMBF's business is primarily in biofuel, and govt. favors were available for this.
Now it appears that they don't need the govt. incentives, they've got a viable niche market for biofuels.
