"I certainly do not believe AUCI had anything to do with the scam"
I am inclined to agree with you on that one.
"Both releases from Car Help were fraud in my opinion"
In fairness, can we even be sure that they released either one of them? From what I remember reading the offer came via an e-mail and AUCI was trying to verify it before releasing a PR when the other second one came out. Which I believe was the responsible thing to do on their part but that is just my humble opinion. They have a responsibility to only PR what they know to be correct to the best of their knowledge. I understand the "Safe Harbor" disclaimer is posted on all releases but still.
"There is no .10 offer IMO."
I have to agree with you on that. Right now, I believe that AUCI needs to make sure that yesterday's disaster does not screw with the possible R/M and then they can get to the bottom of this which will not be hard as they need to just follow the money and it will all become very clear who was behind this.
Pains me to say all this as I was looking for a quick flip on a multi day run but ended up so far underwater I may need to average down once it settles.
