I think too much importance is placed on patents, myself.

They certainly don't guarantee the product will be successful.

Nor do they guarantee the company will be able to sell the product.

Nor does it guarantee that if they could be sold, that the company will be able to successfully finance the company til they are in a position to sell them.

Patents are insignificant in a development stage company listed on the Pinks.
