I'm thinking there is more to putting this devise together than anyone realizes. One, the dazzeling effect. Optics take precision alignment, and in order to keep it that way over the units lifespan of being dropped, dunked and exposure to the elements it has to be packaged very well, two the power source, three the lockout timer, four, the range variation. Put all of that into a package the size of a flashlight and well the reason for the delays seem to come more into focus. Not to mention the money situation.

Dunno I hope they manage to get the units in PBPD's hands by the end of this week, but not if it means giving them something that's going to perform like something made by ACME!
