Here's what I'm thinking, and here's what we need. People who understand trading and how to open a brokerage accounts, people who know how market-makers work and how exchanges work.
I have a idea which I hope can make us very unique and stand out like no other on-line brokerage by using the resources of our communal.
I believe we need a board which is manned 24 7 with IHUBers for the purpose of "help".
We need a place where people can get their questions answered,
a place to find the answers to the where and how of the necessary documents to open an account,
a place to find out if you actually have a problem and not an inherent problem with your market order, all or none order, fill or kill order, your stop limit order, your stop order, your limit order, whether the time and tape is correct and you were mistaken, bah bah bah,
a place were very specific people are empowered to send or get the correct person on the phone to resolve any problem, any time
It's most important for OC to spend it's time on people with real market sensitive trading problems immediately, while most other problems can be resolved by a public reply from a IHUBer with a link to a pre-written answer for a common problem.
Most importantly, the help board should be prepared to ascertain whether or not the client actually has a genuine problem and needs to speak to George, Joey marc, matt, ken, trading, compliance, options penson bah bah A person who has the work, home and cell phone numbers of everyone in the firm.
What better person to look out for the clients interest than a skeptic?
