fred......The problem is, people by nature are selfish. They worry about themselves and those they love.
You want Ghandi as your elected official, but if you don't agree with his views, than he just becomes that pacifist nut who doesn't care about defending his country.
I believe you seek a Utopian society that is unachievable, at least not at this metaphysical plane.
