But what application does it say you used? On the Muddy Waters ones it says Microsoft Excel was used. So that is what I used to change a Microsoft Excel document into a PDF document, just by saving it as a PDF. And when you do that, it keeps the original authors name.

Now I really don't think Kathy had anything to do with this, most likely the computer is registered to her, so when her husband "worked" on the file, it recorded the "owner" of the computer as the author.
