I have been e-mailing Aurus and their rep in Canada regularly requesting info as to why the dividend has not been paid to all shareholders. As expected no reply from Aurus or Canada, however I copied in the SEC on one of my e-mails and here is their response.

Dear Investor:

Thank you for your email and taking the time to alert us to your concerns regarding Aurus Corp. We appreciate the opportunity to review your concerns.

According to our records, Aurus Corp. filed a Form REGDEX with the SEC in December 2007. As you may know, under the Securities Act of 1933, any offer to sell securities must either be registered with the SEC or meet an exemption. Regulation D provides three exemptions from the registration requirements, allowing some smaller companies to offer and sell their securities without having to register the securities with the SEC.

Unfortunately, since Aurus Corp. has not registered its securities with the SEC subsequent to its REGDEX filing, we are unable to provide you with any current information regarding the status of the firm. However, additional information regarding Regulation D is available at the following location on our website: http://www.sec.gov/answers/regd.htm

Also, since Aurus Corp. apparently maintains offices in Delaware, you may want to contact the state securities regulator there for any additional information it may be able to provide about the firm. The address is as follows:

Peter Jamison, Deputy Attorney General/Securities Commissioner
Department of Justice
Division of Securities
Carvel State Office Building
820 North French Street, 5th Fl.
Wilmington, DE 19801
phone: (302) 577-8424
www.state.de.us/securities/index.htm

Once again, thank you for your email. Investor complaints alert the SEC to securities fraud and abuse and are often the first indicators of wrongdoing. I hope this information proves helpful to you.

Sincerely,

David Powers
U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission
