IMO it's intended for XDR.

Yes I understood that Elixe.

1) There is more advantage for XDR
2) XDR probably has much of the muxing logic already in place
3) GDDR needs it less and the MMs will not be convinced to do it easily (for a smaller benefit, more types etc, working on GDDR4 anyway etc)
