Welcome to the Wild Wild West. The evil villain has taken control of the town and we well intentioned homesteaders are waiting for either John Wayne or Clint Eastwood(depending how old we are) to come to the rescue. The shorts are having their day in the sun and there is not one single thing we can do. At this time our only friend is time as short term they can just roll over us. No fun watching my portfolio lose value daily, but I remain focused on the big picture. Might have to wait till March for earnings release but we will move back up to another trading range and I would expect a more responsive management in terms of dividend and stock buy back which will encourage more institutional investing. Not worth getting too emotionally involved now. We've done our due dilligence, we know what we hold, be patient. Emotions aren't your friend here, rational thinking is.
