Santa Barbara, CA -- Warp 9, Inc. (OTCBB: WNYN), the premier provider of turn-key hosted e-commerce platforms and services, today announced a change in the leadership of Warp 9 Inc.
A change in direction is a new place to begin for Warp 9 Inc and their clients. A new step forward in bringing Warp 9 Inc. to the next generation in both service and product.
January 2011, the Executive Board of Warp 9 Inc., met to discuss future plans for the company and to name a new executive team.
"I see tremendous advancements in our business and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for us. We have plans to expand the products offered to our customers, and we are committed to continuing the best personal service in the industry," said William E. Beifuss Jr., Warp 9's Chief Executive Officer and President. "We realize the field is changing rapidly but our long range business plan will keep us ahead of the curve," Mr. Beifuss further states. Mr. Beifuss has become an integral member of the Warp 9 team. His encouragement and leadership has made such a difference to the tone of the Warp 9 Inc. team.
Warp 9 Inc. is also pleased to announce the promotion of Karen Miller to Business Manager. Karen has been the Accounting Manager for over 7 years. With the fiscal year end and the recent changes within the company, she has stepped up to provide guidance, support and intelligent thinking for the business operations of Warp 9 Inc. Of the promotion, Mr. Beifuss states, "Karen has been a loyal employee and has gained a broad understanding of the business. As we grow, it has become apparent that we need a manager with this knowledge and understanding as we continue to expand our market. Karen's experience will be invaluable as we move forward." Mrs. Miller affirms, "The Warp 9 team has been working on ideas for products, features and services that are coming to fruition. It has been exciting to watch these ideas being discussed, created and now closing in on implementation and release.
