Any Progress with the regulators?
Andrew: Anything new on this front? Should any of us be doing anything else? Calling them every day? Sending more email complaints? Please let us know. It looks to me like you've been the closest to anything tangible on this front. (I'll understand if you can't say much)
I see lots of very frustrated people here and on YMB that are really angry at how this all came down. Its got to be the most clear-cut, obvious case of deceit and manipulation I've witnessed in a long time. And the more I think about it, the more I feel that way about it. Its not so much about the money anymore (I am confident that will come back (and some) in due course). Its really the despicable MO and conniving intent that went into this whole ordeal that makes me want to puke.
I think like me, many feel like this reflects poorly on our capital markets as a whole. I assume someone in Washington or NYC would be very interested in pursuing this further. It would be a shame for all of us to be assuming some progress is being made and then, nothing comes of it.
