Ben, I think I have charitably established the issue.

On the one side of the equation we have a motivation for setting forth the 'if then ultimatum'. I have chosen to use friendship as the motivation rather than performance insecurity or some other factor that would result from a new CEO coming in. Please let us all know the motivational construct you would prefer we all assess.

The other side of the 'if then ultimatum' is clear. The implicit communication is that if one doesn't have things his or her way, he or she will pick up their toys and go home, inferring an end or material delay to the scientific advancement. If the outcome of such is not continued illness and death, what is it that the modeerators have been posting about for years?
