Typically 96 bytes.

IMO, one of the issues is prefetch. If we assume a 256-bit bus for high-end graphics, GDDR3 prefetchs 128 bytes.

Current XDR would prefetch 512 bytes. (256 bytes on a 128 bit bus).

The next generation XDR would prefetch 1024 bytes.

I can see why Rambus claims XDR would benefit most from micro-threading.
