Cooper Holding Targets Major Retailers
COTTAGE GROVE, Tenn., Feb. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cooper Holding Corp (Pink Sheets:SHAR.pk - News), a publicly traded company engaged in the wholesale and retail sale of a diverse line of outdoor products, announces that the Board of Directors is in discussion with two product rep groups, to expand the market into the Western United States and Canada.
Each outside rep groups will complement the Cooper Hunting products line by providing the expertise and personnel required to expand the Company's products throughout their assigned market areas. Strong business relationships developed by these groups will streamline getting Cooper Hunting products into the buyer's hands.
These groups will generate sales revenues through in store meetings, trade shows, meetings with buyers and various other promotions. Each group will target both major retailers as well as large distribution companies that represent thousands of individually owned retail outlets.
The Canadian market consists of approximately 500 retail outlets and 3 distributors. Cooper Hunting intends to sell directly to the distributors through its container program. This means the distributor will receive an additional volume discount as well as responsibility for the freight charges from China. This program is attractive to the distributor because the direct importing from China saves the consumer additional import taxes.
